Victory Davao just celebrated its 12th year on May 11,2008. Pastor Julius Fabregas of Victory Ortigas was our speaker. He gave a powerful word about missions. Often when God gave us a word, we consider and think so much about it that we end up a lot of times not doing it. He said, "Too much thinking can produce hesitation and indecision." That's why when God is commanding us through His word, we need to obey at once. In the Book of Acts, God gave a word to Peter to minister to Cornelius and the Gentiles. At first there was hesitation on the part of Peter. Eventually he obeyed. If God is asking you to go, go at once. 3 things will result as we obey and go:1. Obedience opens doors.2. Obedience opens the door of His power.3. Obedience opens the door of salvation for the nations. He added that we should never live for ourselves. Our lives should be lived for God's glory. In conclusion, let's obey God. Happy 12th year anniversary to Victory Davao. | | KL Outreach from April 22 - 30, 2008 |
VCF Davao has recently sent a missions outreach team to Malaysia from April 22 to 30. The team was led by Pastors Alvin & Peds. The team was composed of 11 people. Starting day 1 of the outreach we conducted prayer walks in Lim Kok Wing University (LUCT) and Multi-media University (MMU). The next day we went to the same campuses to continue our prayer walk. Our team was able to engage students mostly from LUCT. Most of these students we invited to the Track of Talents of ECF and we were able to connect them to our leaders there. 6 members of the team participated in the Track of Talents. Ivy, Julia and Marlou presented two dances (hip-hop and jazz). Mabel and EJ both rendered songs while Josh (my son) played solo drum. After this our team was able to engage more the students by going out and spending time with them.
Each night the team was invited to different life groups. Some of us were invited to campus lifegroups, while some to working adults and families. It was a good time to connect with the members of ECF. Saturday night was their SNL and a lot of campus people attended and working adults. I shared the word that night. I also shared the word the next day, Sunday morning and in another ECF congregation in the afternoon.
Our Every Nation family in KL was really blessed with our presence. At the same time, our team's faith was stirred so much that I believe each one of us grew to the next level of faith. Peds, Julia, Julie-ann, Ivy, Mabel, Marlou, Julie, Josh, EJ, Russel, and me will never be the same again as we go back to Davao.

VCF Davao is sending a team to Every Nation Leadership Institute School of World Missions this new school year. The ENLI SWM is where we train our future pastors, missionaries, campus ministers and church planters. The team is composed of Tyrone & Weng Lacerna and Leyla Arellano. I am proud to send these people because they are three of our finest leaders. They are raising up their support to cover for their one year tuition fee, one international missions trip, and several local missions trips. Please let us cover them through our prayers.
VCF Davao is really blessed to have Peds Mandigma back from Every Nation Leadership Institute School of World Missions (SWM). Peds just graduated last March 29, 2007 at ENLI Auditorium at The Fort, Global City, Taguig. He graduated with honors as the gold medalist for academic excellence. We were clueless about Ped's achievement because he was not telling anything to us about it. He was just busy studying. At the same time he was serving as student assistant at the ENLI library to augment for his tuition fee. But on the graduation night, he got a very big surprise when his name was called as the gold medalist of his batch. His sacrifice really paid off. Last year, Peds left a promising career with the government to go to SWM. He raised up support just to be able to go and study. Not to mention the international outreach he participated in. It paid off well. Peds is a campus minister and he will be concentrating on the high schools of Davao City. | | Jael Victoria Supan, 12 years old, Second year HS, 5'4" tall Ballet Recital March 2007 Davao Christian High School Ms. Irma Bringas Aguado- Ballet Teacher Royal Dance Academy-London

| | Please take a look at my family. They are God's wonderful blessings to me. |
Paolo Punzalan fired-up and challenged all our Kid's ministry teachers last Tuesday, March 7. The teachers were reminded of the importance of their role in discipling the future generation of leaders. Paolo, thank you so much.
This coming Sunday, as the teachers will come to teach the children, their renewed zeal and enthusiasm will be evident. I'm excited to see the results of this time of equiping.
It was a great time just to have a get together with all the Every Nation pastors of Mindanao. All the barkada was there: Arnie of CDO, Richie of ZAMBO, Toch of GENSAN, John of PAGADIAN, and of course, Juray. Paolo Punzalan was there to talk to us on parenting... Thanks so much Paolo for your wisdom and insight on parenting. I learned a lot...
Toch and Pinky... thank you for hosting us. Grabe ang busog namin. LAMI KAAYO! (visayan for very delicious)
It was a time of equiping for the leaders and potential leaders of VCF Davao last February 17, 2007 when a team from Every Nation family of VCF Ortigas conducted an E412 Summit here in Davao. Pastor Manny and Joy Muleta spearheaded the team. Bert and Eva Austria, Ethel and Golda were part of the team.
I want to thank you all for sharing your time, energy and resources to bless VCF Davao. The E412 Summit was really a success. The small group leaders are all fired up and ready to make disciples and disciple-makers. This is a milestone for the church.
